Independence is dear to our heart. We are your sole point of contact from the first phone call or email through to the final completion of your Will. We do not have independent agents or associates or consultants who work for us, and are not, and do not operate, franchise networks. We do not 'farm out' our will writing activities to a 'will factory' as we write all your documents ourselves, using the latest law techniques and processes.

The Process

At your first appointment, we provide you with one to one advice in the comfort and privacy of your own home ... or wherever is easiest for you... and at a time convenient to you. It's your choice. Above all, we pride ourselves in our unhurried approach with you. We will provide you with all the information you need to make the right decisions for you.

And we don't pressure you into making decisions at the meeting if you need time to think things through a little more.

We provide you with a draft of your documents so you can check everything is to your satisfaction, and we then bring your originals for signing, again at a time convenient to you.

Membership of the Institute of Professional Willwriters

Membership of the Institute of Professional Willwriters is not given away: unlike some so-called professional organisations it is not just a logo that a company can buy to impress the unsuspecting public. And it carries certain commitments

• Membership is exclusive to those who have taken and passed the Institute's professional examinations
• Members have £2,000,000 professional indemnity cover for each claim. So, if there are any problems, you can be assured that they can be rectified.
• Continuous professional development. Members are required to keep up to date with knowledge and expertise in the profession.
• All members of the IPW have been cleared through a Criminal Records Bureau check.
• Abide by a strict code of conduct, including a complaints procedure, should you ever be unhappy with the service an IPW member has provided.
